Peach Slices Candy Cane Vodka

I know I'm a little late on the train for Candy Cane vodka, but it has been a pain to find candy canes that aren't broken. Luckily a family member had been holding these off for me, and now I get to enjoy them with you!
They come in a box of nine, which seems a little odd, but it is what it is. I figure they should come in twelve, like the twelve days of Christmas, but I'm no marketing expert.
Here's a pair of candy canes... Aren't they in love?

I added another one to the mix just to make sure there was enough flavouring.
I had to break them down in size, so... True love ended them.
At least they got to go out all liquored up!
This was a quick mix. They dissolved within a day, and it had a good flavourful punch to it. This means that they can be ideal for flavouring your vodka, though you'll probably have to wait until Christmas time to do it again.

  1. I just found your site, and loving it!!!

On average how do you decide how much vodka to candy that you use?

  2. I normally aim for a 1/4 mix of candy to vodka. Normally I taste the candy to see how strong it is and plan accordingly.

    1. Thank you very much, the first attempt starts tomorrow, Carmel Vodka. Instead of buying the candy I am making my own carmel candy though and will see how it goes.
