Sour Jacks Vodka

Sour Jacks are a candy I picked up from a party store. I don't know how popular they are, but I knew I'd give them a go anyways.
Those wondering what they look like in their packaging, no longer have to wonder.
The flavour distribution seemed to be towards the cherry and orange flavouring, though they did have a disfigured one.

Blam. Money shot.
I like this shot, because it looks like there is a polar bar walking on top of the shot.
After four days of letting it stew, I came back to this. It looks like the flavour has been thoroughly diffused into the vodka. Remember, don't eat the gummies when they are harvested like this.
They pull out quite nicely, so there is no need to filter it.
It leaves you with a nice red shot. The taste isn't all there though, which makes the effort a little wasted. It's not terrible, but it's not great either. The sourness kills a bit of the vodka burn, but the overall taste isn't there.

Sour Jacks Vodka: 2/5

  1. I was just thinking about doing something like this very recently. Always nice to read a blog from another liquor enthusiast.
