Green Russian
There is a show called Archer, which happens to be one of my favourite things to watch these days. While it is not as great as previous seasons, there is still quite the allure. Who is his dad? Can he tame the ocelot? How does a Green Russian taste?
A Green Russian is a drink that the HR person named Pam coined. It has two ingredients. One is Absinthe... And the other.
Milk. It's like a White Russian, but less kid friendly.
So we start off with the Absinthe, just because it is better to add an alternative liquid to an acid. This lowers splash back, and is a better environment for mixing alcohol with milk. Science bitch!
Now we have it fully formed. I used up the rest of the Absinthe that I had for a birthday shot for a friend. The mixture isn't bad, though it is hardly a candy like booze. Since it is Absinthe though, it packs quite a punch. The type I was using was 70% alcohol. If you are a fan of the show, and you have access to Absinthe, this is a must have drink. At least once for sure. If not, you don't really have to worry about it. The way I mixed it made sure the milk didn't curdle, so just be safe about making them.
